Happy Birthday Briggsie!

Today our little BREW (Beagle Rescue Education and Welfare) mutt turns 1! (Or 7 depending on how you want to look at it.) Yes, and coincidentally on Election Day. For 3 days now we have been leaving him in the kitchen during the day. (No large "Wii episodes" yet.) Of course gated and with all necessary doggie-proof precautions...or so we thought. The first time everything was fine because we were only gone a few hours. The second he got into a mirror replacing kit for Tim's car. And the third time, today, he chewed up a cruddy old runner and the dimmer switch for the light! I swear I did not yell at him. In fact, I didn't say a word to him until Tim got home at 5:30 pm (and I got home at 3 pm). This is the face that I saw when I came home. It is SO sad, weepy, and cute. Happy Birthday Briggsie my big boy!
