While I was in NJ, I worked alot, but I did manage to catch some TV. There was this one commercial that was just annoying, but oddly addicting. Its like those songs that you hate, but are somehow addicted to for sheer cheesiness. I have been singing the jingle the past couple of days since I've been back. I was trying to describe it to Tim and managed to find it on YouTube. Enjoy!

Almost finished
Along with our new couch we also bought a new rug. It came in later than the couch and Tim picked it up on Tuesday, the 22nd. I came home from NJ last night to see my pretty new living room with a new rug in it. Almost complete! It feels so good to be home though. I actually had a good time, but I miss Chicago and my home. I know Tim had a busy week while I was gone. I know that he was only home on Friday night. He had a tournament yesterday all day and I actually had to wait at the airport for him to arrive. I know he's glad the week is finally over....

Here we go again...
Let's try this again! I was inspired by all of the fun family blogs that I enjoy reading so much, that I started my own. This was just my blog, but I changed it up to be a family blog. Less selfish in my opinion.
And this entry, I guess, is inspired by Amanda Travis. She and Matt recently gave their laundry room a little makeover. (Check out the photos on the link on the right side.) I realized that we, too, had done quite the makeover to our home in the past week. I thought I'd share photos of the work. My dad and brother came in during the week and redid our floor. We used to have this gross carpet that had stains all over it. We now have amazing laminate flooring installed. Its basically done with some trim work and door jams needing to be installed. One of our goals in buying this place was to buy it cheap and fix it up. That way we could sell it for a profit in a few years. But here are some of the photos of my dad and brother's work! (And we also got our new sectional in and new blinds up just in time for Super Bowl!)
